Group Volunteer Projects are the most common form of short-term volunteering, where a group of volunteers work and live together on a project which has been identified our partners. These are normally on set dates, but usually there are more dates in summer time (June-August) and spring time (December-January).

These Group Volunteer Options bring together volunteers from different countries and backgrounds and aim to expand international understanding and encourage peace while working for an identified need of the local community. Group Project sizes vary between 10- 20 participants.

Areas for volunteers include:

  • Social Work and Education - helping out with care at shelters for disabled or disadvantaged children/adults
  • Construction and Renovation - building or rebuilding the setting, painting/decoration in shelters for disabled or disadvantaged children/adults or schools
  • Environment Project - raising awareness of sustainability with locals at eco tourism sites
