This incredible 4 week trip is designed to give you the chance to meet new people, learn a new culture, treat yourself to the idyllic beaches of Bali, push yourself out of your comfort zone, volunteer with sea turtles & find your inner zen with a Yoga retreat!

About the Bali Balance Trip:

We have a wonderful month planned for you. You’ll return refreshed, revitalised and inspired!

Here’s how it breaks down:

Week One: Bali Introduction Week 

Get ready for an action packed week full of exciting adventures and, cultural excursions to learn about Balinese culture and getting to know the rest of the group!
Throughout the week, you will get to learn the basics of Balinese language, explore Ubud and its surrounding areas, learn how to do a Balinese Batik painting and finally immerse in the Balinese culture by receiving a real exposure.

Week Two: Bali Beach Holiday Week

During this week you can relax at the beach, go on a bike ride round the beach town, go snorkeling into the blue waters, shop around for authentic clothing, and take part in various other fun loving seaside activities.

Week Three: Bali Adventure Week

This action-packed week begins by visiting the site of an active volcano – Kintamani!
The first activity of the week involves a bicycle tour offering you a magnificent view of Mt. Batur and the surrounding landscape and takes you through spice plantations and rice fields.
On the next day of the adventure, you will be spending the day at a Southern Bali beach and visiting the Turtle Conservation Village. 

Days 3 and 4 of this week involve rafting down the beautiful Ayung river and a beautiful hike at sunrise up Mt. Batur.
The last planned activity for the week is a relaxing Balinese massage which will relieve you of any aches and pains from the active week so the only thing you take back with you are wonderful memories!.

Week 4: Bali Yoga & Meditation Week

This program helps you to get rid of stress, anxiety and physical ailments by engaging in Yoga. If you are searching for means to get rid of both physical and psychological stresses, the program will help you with reaching your expectations. A total rest and relaxation week!

Accommodation

  • You can expect to share a room (dormitory style) on single gender basis. Rooms are from 4-6 people.Single upgrades are available
  • If you select the private accommodation option, you will be given a private room with an attached bathroom.
  • The Balinese place great importance on family and our houses are located amongst Balinese compounds, where you will get the chance to interact with local families and practice your newfound language skills. 
  • There are local laundry services around the village
  • There is WiFi available in public areas
  • There are many ATM's close to the accommodation.

Meals

  • Three meals per day are included for you during weekdays and two per day on weekends
  • Indonesian food is tasty and diverse and you can expect to experience a myriad of flavors and meals during your stay. Typical dishes included mie goreng (fried noodles and vegetables), nasi goreng (fried rice and vegetables) or gado gado (mixed vegetables with a satay sauce). For those who do not eat meat, Indonesian cooking uses a lot of tofu and tempeh (soy beans), we also provide for some of western dish Breakfasts are varied and include pancakes, fresh fruit, toast etc.
  • Water, tea, coffee and milk are at an additional fee. We do not recommend you drink the tap water

Location

  • Nusa Penida is an island with an approximate area of 247 square kilometers and is located South East to Bali. The island by nature is hilly and is drier than Bali. Nusa Penida is popular as a bird sanctuary along with other neighboring islands namely, Lembongan and Ceningan. - This island is also considered as ideal for diving as it includes many diving locations such as Penida Bay, Batu Lumbung, Batu Meling, Toya Pakeh, etc.
  • During your visit to Nusa Penida, some of the activities you may engage would be trekking and mountain biking, birdwatching, diving, and spending plenty of time in the nature!
