Author -  Pops

Ever bought someone the best Christmas present, and Christmas day all you could think about was their face lighting up when they opened it? It feels good to give and it can have a huge effect on you. Research by the ‘United Health Group’ found that the majority of participants felt mentally and physically healthier after a volunteer experience.

94% said volunteering improved their mood
96% said that volunteering enriched their sense of purpose in life

Participants also said that it improved their mood and self esteem!

It Helps You Live Longer!

Not only that, but volunteering could be helping people live longer! A study by the University of Exeter Medical School, analysed data from 40 studies and found that volunteers had a 20% lower risk of death!

It Makes You Feel Good.
