CRANKWORX
10 - 19 August, Whistler, BC.

The Crankworx World Tour heads around the world before finishing in Whistler on August 10th - 19th. It has to be seen to be believed, participants fly through the air above you, doing the unimaginable! There are several events to watch, but possibly one of the most popular is the Red Bull Joyride. It is the ‘season defining conclusion of the Crankworx Slopestyle World Tour’. It is an insane circuit at the base of the park, with the best riders in the world. You can give downhill biking a go yourself while you’re there, in one of the best bike parks in the world, or attend some of the clubs Crankworx parties!

CALGARY STAMPEDE
6-15th July, Calgary

The Calgary Stampede is arguably one of the biggest and well-known events in Canada’s diary. It has been going since 1912 and is a ten-day long celebration featuring a rodeo, music, attractions and delicious food! The evening show kicks off with wagon racing, followed by an explosion of dancing and singing and of course some fireworks to end! It is one not to be missed!

QUEBEC WINTER CARNIVAL
26th January - February 11, Quebec

The Winter Carnival has 200 activities to watch or even take part in! From the Snow Racer Grand Prix, the Lumberjack Challenge, to snow sculptures and winter gourmet experiences, it has something for everyone! Take a visit to the ice palace, watch a canoe race or marvel at the night parade! Taking place over a few weeks, there is plenty of time to go and experience as much as possible at the carnival!

JUST FOR LAUGHS
Dates to be released, Montreal
If comedy is your thing, then Just for Laughs is the event you need to attend! It features dozens of stand-ups, shows, free events and comedy galas. Big names who have attended the event include Jim Carry, Tina Fey, John Cleese and Eddie Izzard! The 2017 festival also had free outdoor events such as; live comedy, circus acts street dancing and a twin parade! If you are a twin or a triplet, you could even take part!

HONDA CELEBRATION OF LIGHT
July 28th, August 1st and August 4th, Vancouver

Originally named the “Symphony of Fire” the festival will celebrate it’s 28th year in 2018, it is a huge off-shore fireworks display and is the longest running one in the world. The event sponsored by Honda, welcomes over 1.3 million regional and international visitors every summer for a celebration of food, music and of course fireworks!


SNOWBOMBING
5th-9th April, Sun Peaks, BC

This huge European snow festival has been running for quite a few years and in 2017 it added Canada to it’s repertoire! Set in Sun Peaks, BC, the festival is huge and last year featured big acts such as Ludacris and Kaskade, as well as local bands and dj sets. It is a huge party, with some awesome skiing or snowboarding thrown in! They have several live music venues and party spots in one-of-a-kind settings, from enchanted forests to a subterranean night club. It will be one to remember! Don’t forget to check the fancy dress theme and get your costume sorted before you go!
