Job Title: Breakfast and Commis Chef

Key Tasks: 

To assist Executive Head Chef and chef team with all day-to-day kitchen and food ordering, preparation, production and service to guests, ensuring the smooth and cost effective running of food provision services.

To ensure food preparation is of the highest standards.

To work in the company’s other kitchens as and when required to cover shifts or preparation of food

Ordering, stock control and appropriate storage of all products maintain correct levels of all essential foodstuffs.

Maintain a flexible approach, ensuring guests reasonable needs and dietary requests are catered for.

Work with the Company’s Executive chef , Kitchen manager and Second Chefs and Management to ensure economies of purchasing are maximised.

Maintain accurate records regarding ordering, purchasing and usage and minimise food wastage.

Demonstrate and enforce the highest health, safety and hygiene standards at all times.

To be polite, attentive, courteous and helpful to all guests at all times.
